- FOR RG58/LMR195 CABLES ONLY: Engineered with a larger crimp ferrule (5mm+) specifically for Thick Coaxial Cables (RG58, LMR195, RG400). DO NOT BUY for thin RG174/RG316 cables (2.8mm), as the crimp will not hold. Perfect for low-loss, long-distance cable runs.
- Secure Crimp Assembly: Includes Female Jack body, center pin, and crimp ferrule. Requires a coax crimping tool with a .213" (5.4mm) hex die for the ferrule (standard RG58 crimp size). Provides a vibration-resistant connection superior to soldering.
- Fakra Code K (Curry/Mustard Yellow): Features the standard Code-K mechanical keying. Commonly used for Vehicle TV Tuners, Satellite Radio (IF) connections, and Heater Control Webasto systems in European vehicles (VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes).
- High Power & Low Loss: Unlike standard thin Fakra connectors, this housing allows you to use RG58 cable, which has significantly lower signal loss per meter. Ideal for RV, Truck, and Marine installations where the antenna is far from the dashboard unit.
